These records need to be legalized with an apostille by the issuing country’s authority and, if required, translated by a sworn translator.
Include the complete original birth certificate with an apostille.

⚠️ Documents from countries not in the Hague Apostille Convention must be legalized at Brazilian consular offices abroad.

There are two options:
- If the employee chooses to collect their visa in Brazil, they must visit the federal police to obtain it.

Register at the federal police
Once the Ministry approves the visa, the professional must complete the next vital step—registering with the federal police upon arrival in Brazil.

After securing the work visa and completing registration with the federal police in Brazil, the individual must take the next essential step—creating an RNM number.
