What is the difference between Employer of Record (EOR) and Professional Employer Organization (PEO)?
Most of the time, EOR and PEO are terms used interchangeably. However, both refers to different services:
An Employer of Record (EOR) is the legal employer of your employee. It means that the EOR provider takes on both responsibility and liability of the employer.
A Professional Employer Organization (PEO) acts as a co-employer. Simply put, a PEO handle the recruitment, employment and manage payroll. However, it is not the legal employer of your staff.
Solutions provided by both EOR and PEO might overlap as they usually offer payroll management or recruitment services.
Are payroll service and benefits management included within the EOR service?

Who is legally responsible for my staff with the Employer of Record service?
As a Direct Employer of record in Latin America, Europortage is the legal employer of your talents during their term of employment.
